Upcoming Exhibitions
The Irish Palette is a collective of contemporary Irish artists who collaborate to organise exhibitions while supporting one another in the development of our creative practice, an ethos which is reflected in the diversity and energy of the work we present.
Since our inaugural exhibition in 2024, The Irish Palette has organised a growing programme of exhibitions across Ireland, bringing together artists working in styles that range from representational painting to expressive abstraction. Our exhibitions celebrate the individuality of each artist while highlighting the strength of creativity that emerges through collaboration.
Alongside their exhibitions in Ireland, The Irish Palette aims to expand its programme to venues and events on the UK mainland and beyond in the future.

After the wonderful response to last year’s exhibition, The Irish Palette artists are pleased to welcome visitors back to the Market Gallery at Douglas Village Shopping Centre, Cork, for their 2026 exhibition, entitled “In Dialogue”. Featuring a rich variety of original artwork, the exhibition celebrates the unique voices and creative diversity of the collective. We hope you will take time to explore the exhibition and perhaps discover a piece that will become a thoughtful gift for someone special or that will bring lasting enjoyment in your own home.
Cnoc Buí Arts Centre, Union Hall, West Cork – 2026

Set in the picturesque harbour village of Union Hall, Cnoc Buí Arts Centre represents an exciting cultural initiative in West Cork.
The Irish Palette was proud to be among the early exhibitors invited to present work representing artists from across Ireland in this dynamic space. Bringing together the paintings of up to twenty-three artists, the exhibition offered a vibrant display of contemporary painting and a wide range of artistic approaches.
Green Acres Gallery, Wexford – 2026

The Irish Palette was honoured to present its largest collection to date. With over one hundred works, this major exhibition was shown at the renowned Green Acres Gallery in Wexford.
The exhibition featured a lively mix of large and small works ranging from representational painting to bold abstraction. Many of the exhibiting artists were present at the opening and were delighted to meet visitors and discuss their creative process.
The Engine Room Gallery, Belfast – 2026

Curiosity, Courage, Collaboration
Following the success of the 2025 exhibition, The Irish Palette was delighted to return to The Engine Room Gallery with a new collection titled Curiosity, Courage, Collaboration.
More than eighty new artworks by eighteen members of the collective filled the gallery walls, celebrating the diversity of styles and voices within the group.
Market Gallery, Douglas Village, Cork - 2025
In August 2025, seventeen Irish Palette artists presented their third exhibition of the year in the bright and welcoming Market Gallery at Douglas Village Shopping Centre in Cork.
The exhibition attracted strong interest from visitors throughout its run, with several artworks finding new homes. The gallery expressed enthusiasm for future collaboration with the collective following the success of the exhibition.
Grá the Coffee Bar Gallery, Naas - 2025
The Irish Palette continued its exhibition programme with a summer exhibition in the gallery space at Grá the Coffee Bar, located in the vibrant town centre of Naas, County Kildare.
This family-run venue blends coffee and culture, creating a relaxed and welcoming setting in which visitors could discover the work of fourteen Irish Palette artists while enjoying the lively atmosphere of the town.
The Engine Room Gallery, Belfast - 2025
Eighty-six original artworks were showcased at The Irish Palette’s first exhibition in Belfast in March 2025. The opening night attracted a full house, and the exhibition welcomed a steady stream of visitors throughout its month-long run.
The success of the exhibition led to an invitation from the gallery to consider making the exhibition an annual event.
“The exhibition was well received by local and national visitors, who often remarked on the wide range of styles within the work and the high quality and skill of the artists involved. We wish the group every success and hope that we can host another exhibition in the future.”
CHQ Gallery Space, Customs House Quay, Dublin - 2024
In November 2024, The Irish Palette exhibited in the prominent gallery space at Dublin’s CHQ building, bringing the collective’s work to a new audience in the heart of the capital.
Cork entrepreneur and arts supporter Tara Prendergast opened the exhibition, describing the event as “a magical moment… representing the beginning of a movement where the very essence of the group shows the power of art to build community.”
The exhibition attracted strong visitor interest, and several artworks found new homes with collectors.
Millennium Court Arts Centre, Portadown - 2024
Thirteen artists from The Irish Palette presented the collective’s inaugural exhibition in the impressive gallery space at Millennium Court Arts Centre. This dynamic community venue promotes social cohesion through a wide programme of cultural activities, workshops and exhibitions.
The exhibition was opened by Noelle McAlinden, Creative Adviser, Artist, Educator, Curator, Arts & Human Rights Activist and Chair NI Mental Health Arts Festival, who stated that,
” The Irish Palette’s strength is in their partnership. I wish the artists continuing success in their practice and their ongoing work in bringing artists and members of the public together, attracting new audiences and celebrating the power of visual arts in connecting and inspiring communities.”
The exhibition marked an important milestone for the collective, introducing the group to a wide audience and showcasing a diverse range of contemporary painting.
The artists closed the exhibition with a day of live group painting in the venue where gallery visitors could watch and ask questions.
