Bríd is a Wexford based artist whose work draws on the therapeutic and healing qualities of nature. She creates vivid and emotive pieces which invite the viewer to connect with the beauty that surrounds them and to experience the transformative power of art.

 While her preferred mediums have mostly been pastel and mixed media, her methods and techniques have undergone significant transformations since she first began. Her paintings, which hover between abstraction and recognizable form, are explorations into the light and colour of the universe

She is a member of  The Pastel Society of Ireland and The Pastel Guild of Europe. She has studied with master pastellists Loriann Signori, Casey Khlan and Stephen Quiller. These experiences have enriched her understanding of the medium and fostered a continuous  journey of growth. Inspired by Michalangelo’s words at the age of 87 “Ancora Imparo” ( I am still learning ), she embraces the idea that art is an ever-evolving practice.
