Bridgeen is a County Antrim–based artist working primarily in oils and acrylics. Largely self-taught, her practice spans realism and abstraction, encompassing landscapes, seascapes, townscapes, figurative and still life works inspired by her local environment, life experience, and imagination. Since retiring, she has devoted herself fully to her art practice and has exhibited widely across local and regional venues. She is a founding member of the Irish Palette, a resident artist at the Gorse Gallery in Ballycastle, and her work is held in private collections nationally and internationally.

What began as a pastime has evolved into a full-time passion, a space where curiosity flourishes, time recedes, and creativity takes hold. While the process of making is largely solitary, Bridgeen also values the social dimensions of the art world, from gallery visits and collaboration with fellow artists to the conversations and connections that emerge through exhibiting and selling her work.
