THE IRISH PALETTE
Our Story
The collective was formed when several Irish painters recognised they were simultaneously studying the international, online art programme called the Creative Visionary Program* (CVP). Realising the value of a more local focus to provide additional support during this course, the founding members set up a private Facebook group called The Irish Palette. This group shared information and provided support for each other through their studies and continuing art practice. The value of this personal and professional collaboration was evident from the start, and the members decided to continue working. Having started with 12 members in 2021, the group now has a membership of over 20 artists, all of whom are CVP alumni.
Our Passion
Many in the group have taken part in solo and group exhibitions and have shown and sold work at home and internationally. The Irish Palette hosted their first collective exhibition in Portadown followed by the CHQ Dublin in 2024 and have continued to collaborate since then and exhibit in the Engine Room Belfast, March 2025, the Market Gallery, Cork, August 2025. Upcoming exhibitions for 2026 include the Green Acres Gallery, Wexford in May and Cnoc Bui Arts Center, West Cork, June. The group wishes to bring this quality, professional, and diverse body of contemporary artwork to new audiences throughout Ireland and further afield.
